Lough Swilly lifeboat launched to assist fishing vessel

 

The Lough Swilly RNLI was launched today following a report of a small fishing vessel adrift off the coast of Rathmullan.
Lough Swilly RNLI were tasked to the scene by the Irish Coast Guard shortly before 12:30pm to recover the boat which had nobody onboard.
The vessel was eventually beached at Inch Island and no longer a danger to other maritime traffic.
