Almost 400 Covid enforcement orders in Strabane & Derry

 

A total of 398 Covid related enforcement orders have been issued in Derry City and Strabane since the pandemic outbreak, the second highest figure in the North.
232 penalty notices were issued along with 6 prohibition notices served to licensed premises and 18 notices served for restrictions of gatherings in a private house.
3 people were fined £1,000 for failing to isolate and a total of 139 community resolution notices were issued across the district.
Last week, a 46 year old Strabane woman became the first person in the North to be charged with breaching Covid regulations.
