Older man assaulted in his home in Newtownstewart

A man has been assaulted after two men broke into his home in Newtownstewart.
At around 7pm on Tuesday evening the two men entered the property at Millbrook Lane and assaulted the older man leaving him with sustained significant facial injuries and a suspected broken jaw.
Anyone who was in the area and saw anything suspicious is asked to contact police.
