Man dies following crash in Sligo

 

A 22 year old man has died following a crash in county Sligo.
It happened at around 5pm yesterday at Magheranrush in Calry when a jeep and car collided.
A 22-year old man was taken to Sligo University Hospital following the incident and was pronounced dead a short time later.
The driver of the jeep -a 35-year old man – is being treated in hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage is being asked to contact Gardaí.
