Speeding motorist hit with penalty points and fine in Buncrana area

A motorist has been hit with a speeding fine and penalty points after being caught travelling in excess of the speed limit in the Buncrana area.
The Buncrana Roads Policing Unit detected a motorist travelling at 140KPH in a 100KPH zone last night.
Gardai say road conditions at night time are poor with icy conditions and motorists are urged to when conditions are poor, to reduce their speed.
