14% rise in homelessness in North West

There’s been a 14% rise in homelessness in the North West.
96 people, including 12 children were registered as homeless in the region in January, 36 in Donegal/ Leitrim.
The latest figures from the Department of Housing are up from 84 in December 2020.
8,313 people nationwide were recorded as homeless in January.
