Councillor Gerry Crawford has been announced as the new Cathaoirleach of the Lifford Stranorlar Municipal District.
He takes over the role from Sinn Fein Councillor Gary Doherty.
Councillor Martin Harley meanwhile, has been elected Leas-Cathaoirleach.
