Donegal manager Mickey McCann was disappointed that unforced errors cost his side in their Nickey Rackard Cup Group A defeat against Mayo at O’Donnell Park.
Donegal were four points ahead going into the closing stages but a number of mistakes enabled Derry to get back into the game.
He said that his side will have to learn from this. Mayo won by 2-14 to 0-17.
