McDonald “reluctant” to support pub and restaurant access restrictions

The Sinn Fein leader says she’d be “very reluctant” to support any legislation restricting access to pubs and restaurant.

The government is examining the prospect of only allowing those who’re vaccinated, recovered from Covid or have a negative test access to indoor dining.

This comes amid concerns that unrestricted indoor dining could lead to a rise in cases of the already fast-spreading Delta variant.
