A walker who become lost on Sliabh Liag due to poor visibility caused by fog last evening has been rescued by Donegal Mountain rescue team.
The team was tasked just before 7 o’clock last night, and quickly located the walker using specialist technology.
A hill party found the casualty, and after assessing their condition, the team set up a storm shelter and provided the casualty with warm drinks, food, and extra clothing befpre walking them off the hill.
They were assessed by an ambulance crew before driving away.
The team was stood down at 02:45.
