A new member is to be co-opted onto Derry City and Strabane District Council.
Sinn Féin’s Damien Mullan will represent the Ballyarnett area when he is formally co-opted onto council.
Mr Mullan was chosen at a selection convention last night to replace Aileen Mellon, who stood down from the council last week.
