An additional 576 Covid cases have been reported by the Department of Health in the Republic of Ireland, up to midnight on Saturday night.
There are 58 patients with the disease in hospital, an increase of 6 on Friday’s figure, and the number of people receiving treatment in ICU has remained at 16.
