Homeowners are being asked to conserve water amid a surge in demand due to the warm weather.
Irish Water says it’s dealing with outages in parts of Donegal as well as in north Dublin and Kerry.
The utility says high water demand in Rathmullan, Carrigart, Downings, Fanad, Clonmany, Carndonagh, Malin Town, Malin Head, Gleenely and across the Lough Mourne Water Supply Zone is resulting in reduced reservoir levels.
Irish Water is appealing to people to only use water for what’s necessary due to depleted reservoir levels.
It says it’s working with local authorities to restore supplies to normal levels.
