Crossan elected as President of Association of Irish Local Government

 

Cllr Nicholas Crossan has been elected as President of the Association of Irish Local Government.

The Buncrana Cllr is first ever Independent Cllr to take up the position as President.

The AILG is a representative body for local Councillors, providing training and a direct pathway to discuss matters at a national level.

Speaking after his appointment, Cllr Crossan has been outlining what the role entails, and says hes looking forward to the challenge:
