Letterkenny University Hospital is the second most overcrowded hospital in Ireland today with 52 people awaiting admission there this morning
According to the latest report from the INMO 17 people were on trolleys in its ED while a further 37 were on wards or in overflow areas.
Nationally, 460 admitted patients were waiting for beds this morning, 362 patients are waiting in the emergency department, while 98 are in wards elsewhere in the hospital.
