Letterkenny University Hospital remains the state’s most overcrowded, with 56 admitted patients awaiting beds there this morning, 18 of them on Emergency Department trolleys.
INMO figures show in Sligo, there were 18 people awaiting beds, 12 on ED trolleys.
That’s a North West figure of 74, out of a national total of 456.
