Gardaí from the Buncrana Roads Policing Unit say that they caught a driver speeding at over 40 kp/h over the speed limit, during a period of heavy fog earlier today.
They say that the driver was observed speeding in the Burnfoot area at 121 kp/h – in a 80 kp/h zone.
The driver was issued a fine and will also receive 3 penalty points.
