The Irish Blood Transfusion Service has launched an urgent appeal as supplies are extremely low.
Donors are being encouraged to make an appointment to attend this weeks clinics in the Abbey Hotel.
Stephen Cousins National Donor Service Manager with the IBTS says they have had a good response so far but there’s plenty of capacity left for the remainder of the week.
He’s calling on people south of the county to attend but also people from the Twin Towns too:
