The Government is being urged to stop ‘leaking trial balloons’ as it relates to the Mica Redress Scheme.
Details of a so-called ‘enhanced scheme’ were due to be published today however, it is being delayed as further adjustments are to be carried out.
It’s after speculation that a cap of €350,000 would be included in the scheme which, in turn, would have excluded around 40% of mica affected householders.
Donegal Deputy Thomas Pringle says those affected have waited long enough, the Government should stop leaking and sort it once and for all:
