Donegal house prices expected to rise by 10 percent in 2022

A new study on house prices claims that the pandemic has led to a higher demand for larger homes outside Dublin.

The Sunday Times Property Price Guide predicts an average increase of 7.6 percent for counties outside of the capital over the coming year – including a 10 percent rise in house prices for County Donegal.

Primary researcher with The Sunday Times, Patrick O’Donoghue, says people are now looking for larger family homes, with more space available for work and relaxation as a result of the pandemic:
