It’s been revealed that Ireland’s 10 biggest landlords own almost 17,000 houses and apartments between them.
That’s according to the Irish Independent which estimates these properties are worth about eight billion euro in total.
The vast bulk of these properties are in Dublin, with many also in Cork and Galway.
The Independent’s report comes as the Government has faced mounting pressure and criticism over the housing crisis and the recent spike in the cost of living.
