Mark English is into the semi finals of the men’s 800 metres at the World Athletic Championships in Oregon.
The Finn Valley sprinter finished third in his heat in the early hours of Thursday morningwith his second ever fastest time.
Mark’s time of 1:44.76 was just 0.05 seconds off his Irish record.
Mark was awarded third in the race after Jonah Koech of the US was disqualified.
