How often do you brush your dogs teeth?
According to the VCA Animal Hospital we should brush put dogs teeth at least twice daily with at least three times a week being the minimum recommendation to to help remove plaque and prevent tartar accumulation.
In a survey completed by canine dental stick makers YuMove one in six pet owners say they brush their dog’s teeth several times a week.
One in five say they never do it, while most pooches only get their teeth cleaned once a month.
A possible reason for this is 25% reporting that their dog doesn’t like having their teeth brushed with their many biting the toothbrush or running off.
