Domino’s has closed the last of 29 branches in Italy.
This has come as no shock to some as one social media user compared selling pizza to Italians as selling ice to Eskimoes.
It’s thought competition from Italy’s traditional pizzerias as well as from food delivery apps affected demand.
The American pizza company launched there in 2015.
