Finn Harps suffered a 2-1 defeat away to UCD on Friday evening.
Filip Mihaljevic’s penalty put Harps 1-0 up on 18 minutes before Donal Higgins brought the sides level three minutes later.
Dara Keane was shown a red for the hosts on 52 minutes but it was they who went on to claim the win with Evan Caffrey’s wonder strike earning them all three points.
