Median house prices in Donegal are the second lowest in the country

House prices have increased by 123 per cent since 2013.

Latest figures from the CSO show residential property prices have increased by 14 per cent in the year to June.

Outside Dublin, house prices were up 16 per cent, with the border region seeing the largest increase at 20 per cent.

Nationally, the median house price was 290-thousand euro. The median price in Donegal is almost half that at €150,000. It’s the second lowest in the country, with Longford the lowest at €140,000.
