Hospital waiting lists increase as more patients go to North for treatment

Almost one in every five people are on some form of hospital waiting list.

New figures show there were 907,000 people waiting for hospital treatment at the end of last month.

It includes 628,000 waiting for their first outpatient appointment – an increase of almost 3,700 on the previous month.
