Portsalon won the Donegal Youth Golf Matchplay title this week beating Ballyliffin in the final.
On Friday evening last, Portsalon won their home match by 3 – 0 and 8 holes of a
difference.
Then on Sunday they secured the title winning by 2 matches to 1 on the Glashedy links.
Ballyliffin Golf Club gave it all but on this occasion but the the deficit was too much.
Both courses were in great condition and all spectators were treated to a very high level of golf.
Shot of the day went John Hark of Portsalon with a hole in one at the par 3 14th on the Glashedy course.
