Public Consultation on new Creative Ireland Culture andCreativity Strategy for Donegal

A Public Consultation has been launched on the new Creative Ireland Culture and Creativity Strategy for Donegal.

Donegal County Council is undertaking a review of its County Donegal Culture & Creativity Strategy 2018-2022 with a view to developing a new strategy for the years 2023 – 2027.

The Creative Ireland Programme is a five year all-of-Government initiative to place creativity at the centre of public policy.

It is guided by a vision that every person in Ireland will have the opportunity to realise their full creative potential.

As part of the consultation, the public is invited to give feedback on their experience of the Creative Ireland programme to help the council gain a better understanding of what has worked well, what should be done differently, any opportunities that should be considered and how the council should prioritise work over the next five years.

Through partnerships with local and national government, cultural and enterprise agencies, Creative Ireland creates pathways and opportunities to inspire and transform people, places and communities through creativity.

The deadline for completion of the survey is the 24th August, 2022 and more information on Creative Ireland can be found on www.creativeireland.gov.ie.
