During an American football game between the Northwestern Wildcats & Nebraska College on Saturday, 27th August 2022, the Aviva stadium experienced an issue across all of their card machines.
This resulted in 75% of the allocated food and drink being given away for free.

Videos have been circulating online of the crowd stacking the free drinks cups together creating what has been dubbed the ‘beer snake.’
