Landowners are being reminded about their responsibility to trim overgrown hedges and grass verges.
Hedge cutting is now permitted following the summer months ban, and the council will be on the main roads in the coming weeks.
However, Cllr Michael McClafferty is reminding landowners of the importance of ensuring that their hedges are not obstructing the road.
