It’s emerged that almost 5,000 children across Derry and Strabane district are relying on emergency support from food banks.
Latest figures from the Trussell Trust reveal that there’s been a 125% increase in the usage of food banks in the region when compared to figures from 2019/2020.
Foyle MLA Sinead McLaughlin says the stark figures demonstrates the scale of the cost of living crisis facing people.
