No life guard cover on Inishowen beaches for much of summer

Serious concerns have been raised as it’s emerged there were no life guards patrolling Blue Flag beaches in Inishowen for much of the summer.

It’s claimed no warning signs were in place to warn beach goers of the absence of life guards at Culdaff or Shroove beach.

Donegal County Council has confirmed it is finding it difficult to recruit life guards.
