Donegal hotels urged to apply for support fund

Donegal-based hotels can now apply to the Hotel Investment Fund (HIF) for finance for support as they emerge from the Covid-19 pandemic disruption and move into an energy crisis.

Pembroke Hospitality and ISIF announced a €50m commitment to investing in hotels across the country where trading has been negatively impacted by the pandemic or to ramp up for full recovery in the Donegal hospitality market.

The HIF will target investments in local hotels in Donegal that are graded 3-star and above, with a minimum of 25 bedrooms.

Mark Lynch, Director of Pembroke Hospitality says the fund offers support to hotels who may be struggling after a very difficult two years…

The €50m fund will invest in hotels that need support with working capital and cash flow funding, capital expenditure as well as green and environmentally sustainable investment funding.
