1.8 tonnes of litter was collected across Donegal as 320 volunteers took part in Clean Coasts Big Beach Clean.
25 groups tackled litter in several locations across the county including; at Bundoran Beach, Doneagl Pier, Rathmullan, Arranmore, Rossnowlagh, Buncrana, Muckross.
Falcarragh Clean Coasts group removed several bags of marine litter with the most common source of litter glass.
