A man has been arrested after a van rammed through the gates of a South Donegal TD’s home.
It happened at 2 o’clock yesterday morning at Martin Kenny’s property in Aughavas, Co Leitrim.
Deputy Kenny says the incident was ‘very traumatic and frightening’ for his wife, who was alone in the house at the time.
Gardai have arrested a man in his 40s this morning, on suspicion of endangerment.
He’s being questioned in Carrick-on-Shannon Garda Station.
