Care is being advised on the roads today with a yellow wind and rain warning is in place for six counties, including Donegal, with a risk of localised flooding. So far, gardai in the county say no issues or incidents have been reported to them.
The other counties covered by the alert are Sligo, Leitrim, Mayo, Galway, and Clare.
It came into effect at 2 o’clock this morning and will remain in place until 2 o’clock this afternoon.
