Gardaí from the Donegal Town Roads Policing Unit say they’ve caught a number of drivers speeding this weekend on the roads – including a driver clocked at 156 kph in a 100 kph zone.
Two other drivers were detected being 30kph over the speed limits – one doing 133 kph in a 100 kph zone, and another doing 113 kph in an 80 kph zone.
Gardaí say all three drivers were issued with a fixed charge penalty notice and three penalty points – and have reminded the public to slow down to speed lives.
