Event cancellations in light of Creeslough tragedy

Due to the unfolding tragedy in Creeslough, the Jigsaw mental health workshop planned for Wednesday 12th October in the Mulroy Woods hotel has been postponed until further notice.
Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with those affected by the recent tragedy

Jimmy Jests
The show scheduled for this Saturday (15th October) in Jackson’s Hotel, Ballybofey has been cancelled.
The show will not be rescheduled so if you have purchased a ticket please request a refund.

CLG Na Dunaibh
Out of respect to the victims of the tragedy in Creeslough and their families, tonights club lotto draw is cancelled.
Anyone who has purchased a ticket will be included in the next draw which will take place on Monday 17th October.

CLG Baile na ngalloglach – GAA Healthy Club
Due to the tragic event in Creeslough last Friday, this weeks Lotto draw has been cancelled.
Any tickets bought during the week will be entered into next weeks draw.

Ionad Naomh Fionnán Falcarragh
As a mark of respect to all those that lost their lives in the tragedy in Creeslough, this weeks Monday night bingo will be cancelled. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone involved.

An Grianan Theatre
The Concert for World Mental Health Day on Monday 10th October in An Grianán theatre has been cancelled out of respect to the lives lost in the Creeslough and all the families and communities effected.

Wainfest
“In light of the tragedy in Creeslough, the Wainfest Children’s Arts & Book Festival 2022 will not be proceeding this week. It is intended to reschedule the majority of the events in due course. Our deepest sympathies are extended to every person affected by the tragedy.”

Convoy Community & Environmental Committee
Convoy Community & Environmental monthly committee meeting to be held tonight has been cancelled until Monday the 17th of  October in light of the recent events in Creeslough.

Frances Browne Literary Festival

In light of the tragedy in Creeslough, the 2022 Frances Browne Literary Festival has been postponed until further notice.
Deepest sympathy is extended to all affected by the tragedy.

 

Carrigart Bingo
As a mark of respect for those who lost their lives in Creeslough, this weekend the bingo that usually takes place in the Carrigart parish hall at 8:30 is cancelled. It will resume next week.

 

Cross Border Partnership for Employment Services
As a mark of respect to the victims of Creeslough and the people of Donegal, The Cross Border Partnership for Employment Services in consultation with the Dept of Social Protection & The Department for Communities have decided to postpone North West Job Fair tomorrow the 11th of October, In Inishowen Gateway Hotel.

 

The Irish Kidney Association
As a mark of respect to all families and communities affected by the tragic events in Creeslough The Irish Kidney Association have cancelled their intended meeting at the Raddison Hotel Letterkenny on the 11th October 2022 at 8pm until further notice.
