Flood concern as yellow weather advisory is issued for the whole week

A yellow weather warning has been put in place for the rest of this week, with Met Eireann saying further spells of rain and showers may cause localised flooding due to waterlogged soils and high river levels.

The warning came into place at 4 o’clock this morning, and remains in force until 11 o’clock on Friday night.
