1,296 Ukrainian pupils in Donegal schools

Over 15,000 Ukrainian children are enrolled in Irish schools, 1,296 of them in Donegal.

Data shows 90 per cent of 5 to 18 year olds who have come here fleeing war in the past 14 months have been enrolled.

Of those attending school in Donegal, 838 are in primary school and 458 in secondary school.
