Leo Varadkar has defended his leadership of Fine Gael after another TD said they won’t be contesting the next election.
John Paul Phelan confirmed he won’t seek re-election – joining Brendan Griffin, Donegal Deputy Joe McHugh and Eoghan Murphy in leaving since election 2020.
