Fintan Dewhirst set a new Donegal record on route to qualifying for the European Under 20 Championships.
The Tir Chonaill AC athlete finished the 400 metres hurdles in a time of 52.68 seconds at the International Flanders Athletics Meet in Belgium.
Dewhirst will now compete at the European Under 20 Championships in Israel.
