The Dail has been told it would be impossible for a single person on the median wage in Donegal to buy a house in the county.
Deputy Thomas Pringle told TDs that based on recent CSO figures which showed Donegal still has the lowest incomes in the state, he sat down with some mortgage calculator programmes and started looking at Estate Agents to see what could be bought.
