Six medical evacuations were carried out on Arranmore Island during a two week period this month.
The Arranmore RNLI volunteer crew responded to six call outs for assistance to evacuate patients in need of medical attention from the island between July 2nd and 17th.
Patients were brought to Burtonport on the lifeboat and transferred to a waiting ambulance to transport them on to Letterkenny University Hospital.
