Gardaí in Letterkenny are investigating a broad daylight assault in the town on Friday last.
A man was assaulted by another man at around 3pm at the Old Courthouse Carpark off the Justice Walsh Road.
The alleged culprit is described as being in his early 30s with short black hair and a beard and was wearing a grey and black tracksuit.
Anyone who has any information is asked to contact Gardaí in Letterkenny.
