One in 10 people in the Republic could call themselves a victim of the Troubles.
That’s according to new research from the Commission for Victims and Survivors in Northern Ireland.
It found 4% of those living south of the border have been bereaved as a result of conflict in the North, while 7% say their mental health has been affected.
A similar number say they have witnessed a Troubles-related incident.
