Letterkenny Milford Municipal District has been told that it is planned to replace the existing roundabouts at Oatfield Roundabout and Station Roundabout with linked traffic signal junctions.
Formal pedestrian crossing facilities will also be incorporated into both, with the intention of implementing the plan in the short to medium term.
Cllr Ciaran Brogan asked if funding has already been applied for, and also expressed concern that linking this with other planned projects may delay the plans even further.
