A man has been arrested in connection with a claim of responsibility made after the attempted murder of DCI John Caldwell.
The senior PSNI detective was shot multiple times outside a leisure centre in Omagh in February – in a dissident republican attack.
The 23-year-old was arrested in Derry today under the Terrorism Act and has been taken to Musgrave Serious Crime Suite for questioning.
