A woman was rescued this morning after suffering a suspected cardiac arrest on Lisfanon beach in Buncrana.
Greencastle coastguard responded to an alert along with the 118 rescue helicopter and other emergency services.
The woman was transferred to Letterkenny University Hospital by helicopter after she received CPR from a doctor who happened to be at the scene.
Her condition is currently unknown.
